Everyone Happier and Healthier
A Belonging Initiative
About Us
Everyone Happier and Healthier: A Belonging Initiative is a nonprofit organization created to empower individuals with disabilities and special needs by providing inclusive employment, vocational training, supportive housing, and community education.
We promote belonging through integrated programs and social enterprises that foster dignity, purpose, and joy.
Our work includes the Bakery, an inclusive community space where individuals of all abilities can work, learn, and connect.
All activities are carried out exclusively for charitable and educational purposes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Our Mission
Our mission is to build a more inclusive world where everyone can live, work, and belong—happier and healthier.
Through hands-on training, meaningful employment, supportive living, and inclusive community spaces like Merrill Budz, we empower individuals with disabilities and special needs to thrive with dignity, purpose, and love.
Our Vision
We envision a world where every individual—regardless of ability—is welcomed, valued, and empowered to live a life of joy, purpose, and belonging.
A world where inclusion isn’t a goal—it’s the way we live.
Core Values
These values guide every decision, program, and relationship within the organization.
Belonging Before Barriers
We believe every person deserves a place at the table—without separation or segregation.
Dignity in Every Step
All people have value and purpose. We treat every individual with deep respect and humanity.
Purpose Through Opportunity
Empowerment begins with real chances to grow, contribute, and thrive.
Community-Led Change
We build bridges—not walls—between people, families, and communities.
Joy as a Guiding Light
Happiness and health are human rights. We prioritize environments where joy can flourish.
Faith in Action
Our love for people and belief in hope, redemption, and justice fuels all we do.
